Quilled Kolam.

 This was made for  a friend who makes videos on Margalzhi kolams and rangolis. So I also made a making video for the first time. You can watch the video by clicking the link below;

Paper bead necklace

 

  Made from Handmade paper. Working on a neckpiece after a long time. 

was planning on making a circular pendant. the cone paper beads turned out too big and so I just stopped at a fan shape pendant.

Quilled keepsake

  A simple flower arrangement around a printed picture, I wanted the picture to look like a painting , my son helped me with that . I printed out the picture and then cut it out. I stuck some quilled elements from 1cm strips underneath the picture to give it some depth. Later quilled flowers around it . I was particularly asked to make these pink flowers from my earlier work somewhat like cherry blossoms. Used white cardstock strips to make the leaf like designs.

Quilled bike

 This is for my favourite customer Daphne. This is so over due I cannot thank Daphne for being so patient .It was not easy for me to start it . I took a print of the bike and gave up several times . This time my son made a simplified digital drawing of the bike which I printed out and quilled over. I must say I enjoyed making this . It might not be an exact replica but it does bear resemblance to the bullet bike that Daphne had asked for.
