Quilled royal flower card.

After seeing so many on facebook , I had to try making these flowers. I followed Amna's video tutorial to make these flowers. The only difference is I have curled the white strips with a needle , instead of a slotted tool.I particularly loved the way she first made the outer tight coil( orange here) and then fitted the scrolls(white) inside to make equal sized petals.

The background paper is very rich pearl colour .I hand cut white strips 90gsm paper sheets for the inner scrolls and 80gsm paper for the outer orange colour.I stuck the petals at an angle to give the flower some dimension.

Thanks for stopping by, have a lovely day.
